Sajid Khan claimed 5-50 for match figures of 9-115, while leg-spinner Abrar Ahmed grabbed 4-27 as West Indies were bowled out for 123, far below their target of 251 for victory.
Pakistan's spinners shared out all the wickets in West Indies' second innings, with Nouman Ali adding 1-42, as the home side established an early lead in the two-Test series.
The visitors’ spin department was spearheaded by left-armer Warrican who claimed a personal best 7-32 as Pakistan was dismissed for 157 in the second innings.
They were the best stats by a West Indian bowler in Pakistan, surpassing fast bowler Malcolm Marshall's 5-33 at Lahore in 1986.
The Pakistan captain, Shan Masood, praised his spinners but said he was looking for an improvement in the side’s batting.
“Batting was not easy on this pitch but we still have to put on more runs with the tail-enders and there’s room for improvement.
His beaten opposite number Kraigg Brathwaite wanted West Indies’ batters to have faith in their abilities.
“Our batters didn’t bat the way they were allowed to,” Brathwaite said.
“We saw the way Alick played so we have to be brave as well. We got one test left behind and we have to believe in ourselves.”
